Estimation of the Permeability of Rock Samples Obtained from the Mercury Intrusion Method Using the New Fractal Method

Rock permeability, defined as the ability of fluid to flow through rocks, is one most important properties rock. Many researchers have developed models predict permeability rock from porosity and pore size based on mercury intrusion. However, these existing still some limitations. In this study, data regarding fractal nature intrusion we built a new model rocks. order verify model, extracted different kinds samples literature estimated using model. The results showed that could various types such tight sandstone, carbonates, shale. comparison calculated closer measured value than models, indicating better in predicting samples.
